A Friendly Knitting Community for Every Level

Whether you already know how to knit or have never knitted a stitch before, we offer the perfect knitting workshop designed for every knitting level.
Knitting combines beautiful tactile materials with a repetitive motion that has the same relaxing effects as yoga or meditation, especially when knitting in the company of like‑minded “woollies”. We aim to create a friendly and inclusive knitting community where support is an absolute given.

Choose a workshop that suits your level and start your next project with confidence.

Meet Irene
I’m Irene, the face behind Woolly Wol, and I’ve been knitting for as long as I can remember.
I first learnt from my grandmother when I was six, knitting a tiny cardigan for my favourite teddy. Since then, knitting has become both a creative outlet and a way to slow down and unwind.
Woolly Wol was born from a love of knitting and a passion for teaching, creating a space where people can come together, learn new skills and enjoy the process just as much as the finished piece.

Knit any pattern with me
If you’ve already chosen yarn to knit a pattern but you are not really sure where to start or how to read the pattern, or if something has gone wrong and your knitting needs “surgery”, then I can help you on a one-to-one basis.
One-to-one sessions are available per hour or on a plan.
